Now this is what I call amazing. Miss Sara from the North Chatham School has a rather uncanny way with numbers. This story from WRAL’s Tarheel Traveler segment this past week is worth checking out.

I’m impressed that she could keep track of everybody that’s there. Especially since I don’t really know half the people in my apartment building.

Change isn’t always an easy thing to deal with.  While the opportunity to seek out new challenges and opportunity may seem forboding and uncertain to some, it can also be exciting and inviting to others.  It all has to do with how one sees the change itself in order to determine its overall benefit.  Aside from the wide range of thoughts and emotions that come with change itself,  it is important to understand that, in the end, very few things in this world are ever final.  Life itself is more like a continual motion of events where we just keep on going until we finally reach the end of all things.

Okay, now that I’m done being philosophical, I wanted to use change as a metaphor of sorts for my “new” blog.  It’s more of a continuation of the one I started on Xanga three years ago, only with a few upgrades thrown in for good measure.  And like my previous endeavor, much of what I have to share will vary to a certain degree from one post to the next.  To quote from my favorite movie of all time Forrest Gump, “Life (is) like a box of chocolates.  You never know what you’re gonna get.”

Sounds pretty sweet to me.
